I was going through my WIPs folder again, and I realized just how fickle my interests can be. I hate about 75% of the images that I have in there. Some I have no interest in finishing and others I can’t figure out for the life of me why I even started the image at all. I have a few that I put so much work into and don’t want to abandon them. but I don’t like the images anymore. Then there’s some — like the Lady Gaga drawing below — that I still like, but don’t want to invest the time in completing. That dress she’s wearing is going to take about 50 layers alone. Nah. But I love the legs! *Decisions* The other two below are being trashed, that’s for sure!

Started this image like 4 years ago and only had the arm done. Today I did the shirt and hair. I may get around to doing the rest today/tomorrow. I’m trying to work my way through my WIPs folder with the goal of completing or deleting. Completing the ones I still like and deleting the ones I know I’ll never finish for whatever reason.

I’ve been out of commission for a while due to illness, but since I’m finally starting to feel a little better I decided to work on something new. I wasn’t feeling up to painting so I did some digital art instead. I haven’t done any new digital art in a long time so I’m definitely a little rusty. This was fun though. Next week I’m looking forward to finishing some paintings I started earlier this month.
