This is the most recent design that I made for my whole Daily Design Challenge thing. I made this on Friday. I didn’t make anything Saturday and since it’s already 10p on Sunday, I doubt I’m making anything tonight. I wanted to do this challenge to challenge myself, but for the most part I’m still doing what’s comfortable. And trying to force myself to draw every day when I’m not inspired is making me kind of resent it. So I think I’m off that. I don’t know though! I have to add all of these to my portfolio. I decided to start my own version of the Daily Design Challenge. For my 365 Days of Art and Design I’m going to spend time every day designing something new to post on my Tumblr account. I chose to post my stuff there instead of on this site because I’ll be updating daily and it’s just easier. Also, I’m sure a lot of the stuff that I create will be random and not exactly want I want added here. Most designs will be digital art (vexel, vector, painting & airbrushings, drawings, photomanipulation, text art, etc), but who knows what else I’ll come up with.

I’ll also be posting other stuff on my Tumblr account too, so if you have one feel free to follow me and I’ll follow you back. I’ll post certain designs that I do for the challenge on this site as well and of course I’ll continue to update this site regularly with stuff not shown on my Tumblr, so keep visiting!!

IF: Muddy

My entry for this week’s Illustration Friday theme “Muddy”. I decided to do a painting/airbrushing because I’m trying to get better at those. I like the way this came out, but I’m not completely satisfied. I’m pretty horrible at doing hands. Her hands look too masculine or something… Plus I need to learn to better control my shading. Certain parts are too dark and emphasized. But yeah, I’m cool with this. I’ll get better in time!
